THE LONE WOLF HARP DELAY®
DELAY DESIGNED FOR HARP
To my knowledge this is the first delay designed for harp offered to the public, it is not a tone sucking
modded guitar delay but a tone enhancing harp delay. The dry portion of the signal passes through
a buffered input and high value coupling capacitors assuring maximum bass response. The echo
portion passes through 5 low pass filters to provide maximum warmth. This is a digital delay that has
all of the warmth of an analog delay and then some.
The circuit is centered around
a chip that has a low noise rating, < -90dbv, low distortion, < 0.5%thd, 44k digital processing and is capable
of up to 300ms delay. The input is FET buffered for high impedance to provide proper loading for your
favorite crystal or cm mic. The gain has been reduced to prevent solid-state distortion
and is balanced to have an overall gain of 1x so that the level is the same when bypassed. The warmth comes
from the superior bass response, distortion free performance and
the filtering which reduces the highs more on every repeat providing the effect of a distancing echo. This
delay has an even better roll-off in high frequencies than the Boss analog delay. The delay operates off of a
9 volt battery or a 9vdc power supply and it has reverse polarity protection. The battery is switched off when an external power supply is used and the LED is on
when the delay is in and is off when the delay is in bypass. The mic IN jack acts as the on/off switch and the bypass is a true bypass.
The Harp Delay© is guaranteed to please even the most die-hard analog delay fan.
To make it all just a little easier Lone Wolf is offering a power supply for US and EURO customers to power
your Harp Delay. The ac adapter requirements are 9V DC with a minimum 200mA output and a 2.1mm x 5.5mm
connector with a negative center and the outer positive. Because of the high current draw that is typical of delay
pedals battery life is short (around 12 hours) and to prevent noise from low battery voltage it is recommended to
use a power adapter.

REVIEWS
Ryan Hartt of Ryan Hartt and the Blue Hearts writes:
"I think this is a fantastic product! Don't go looking for the sound of your Boss DD-3 or your Dan Echo. This
pedal is built from the ground up specifically for harp with its own sound. Its the sound you were looking for
when you bought those other pedals and couldn't get because they were made for guitar. From tone fattening
slap back, to long Little Walter slow blues delays, to funky phaser/Leslie like doubling the Lone Wold Harp Delay
does it to death!. I can't decide if I'm going to use my Boss DD-3 as a paperweight or a door stop."
Ian Collard of Collard Greens and Gravy writes:
"Hi Randy, the pedal arrived Friday and I gigged with it yesterday and loved it, huge improvement on my Maxon AD90,
much warmer."

"YOUR DELAY BOX LAY'S IT DOWN, MAN!
Here's what's cool: I rebuilt a 62' Harmony 305A and added a few components for bigger low end and a
Weber 12A100 and now it's actually a pinch brighter with the box, which is just what an old time EchoPlex
did to the tone. It still has that big low end with some added bright edge. I will say, though, that this box
makes my dynamic mics come alive unlike any delay box I think I've ever heard. It reminded me of my Hohner
buddy who has always used a 59 Champ, and a 545 with a Boss DD2, but I do think this was better. The
bypass was pretty darn good too! So far? 2 thumbs up!"

“I like the pedal enough that I am going to start bringing it out with me on the road to demo with my amps.
To me, that is the highest endorsement I can give of a product. I want my amps to sound their best when people
demo them. I feel comfortable with how this pedal will make my amps sound when people ask to try the amp
with delay. I know it won't take anything away from the amp and it will just enhance an already great tone.”

Thanks Randy. I LOVE this thing! It's replaced an Ibanez AD-9 that I've used for the last 15 years. It's amazing
how MUCH better sounding it is than any delay I've used. Before the AD-9 I had tried many different delay's, from
stomp box's to rack mounts. I thought the AD-9 was great till I played through your Lone Wolf. There's really no
comparison. It's just so much better sounding. Switched in, It's got a great fat delay tone. Switched out, It's just
much more transparent. Great googlie, mooglie, this is the one!

Randy, Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my Harp Delay pedal. What an awesome piece of gear!
Talk about fat tone - it does great things for my overall sound. I've been playing harp for 40 years and have played through
a lot of mics and amps, but with your pedal and my HarpGear amp I think I've finally found "my sound". It arrived on Fri.
afternoon just in time to gig with on the weekend and I had a ball trying different settings in two very different rooms. I've
just begun to explore all the possibilities and, so far, it's all good. Thanks for producing such a great effect for the harp
community. Thanks Again, Jeff DeLong

I hate pedals and gadgets, but I talked to Mr. Landry over the phone, played some stuff through my rig and he
said "this delay is going to give you more bottom end and I promise you will like it". I bought one. He was
absolutely right. No tone or power loss whatsoever and I use the ac/dc power adaptor he sells too. I have no time
to fool around with batteries. The Lone Wolf Harp Delay really adds to the sound. I used it on gigs all weekend
in various places (one being the dreaded outdoor "festival" with a know it all sound man trying to control
everything) and I am totally pleased. I am one of those who shamelessly chase the Rod Piazza sound, note for note,
and give him credit where it’s due. This delay gadget has me about as close to it as you can get; I think.
I am sure there are many who will challenge most of this, but please remember it’s my opinion and what I like to
hear, as do the crowds I work for. Regards, Joe Lee Bush
